Directions & Parking

The Bowers Museum

is located at the corner of 20th & Main Streets in Santa Ana - one minute from the 5 freeway, (Main St. South exit) and just minutes from the 57, 55 and 22 freeways.

Kidseum

is located on the corner of 18th and Main Streets - south of the main Bowers Museum. Parking is available in a well-lighted conveniently located area, adjacent to the Museum. Wheelchair accessible.

Parking

Parking Lots are available directly north and south of the museum for a $6 fee. Nearby metered and timed street parking is also available. Bowers Museum Members have the exclusive opportunity to purchase an Annual Parking Pass for $20.

Public Transportation

The bus line servicing the Bowers Museum and Kidseum is the OCTA bus number 53. Metrolink and Amtrak trains stop at the Anaheim Station (3.5 miles from the museum), and the Santa Ana Station (1.7 miles from the museum).

In this unique digital playground, creativity abounds as children work and play together using technology, art and their imaginations! Designed to inspire creative thinking, encourage collaborative play and build an interest in digital technology, this hands-on, digital exhibit features four different interactive areas for children to explore. Great for all ages and only at Bowers’ Kidseum!

Limited-Edition Platinum Prints

The Bowers Museum, in partnership with RGS London, is pleased to offer limited edition platinum prints, the highest quality of image achievable, of Frank Hurley's original negatives which document one of the greatest stories of human survival ever told. Handmade on the finest cotton paper, the prints will be available in three sizes with full supporting provenance documentation. New Photography with an Old Fashioned Twist

In partnership with the Council on Aging - Orange County, we will present an entertaining and informative program featuring live music by Ruled by Venus, an engaging talk by Edward L. Rubin, the Aging as Art juried photography exhibition, an instagram photo contest and art project, and a happy hour presented by Tangata!

Edward L. Rubin is an Emmy award winning TV/Film production designer. Edward is also a museum-exhibited and award-winning photographer and fine artist. Learn more about Mr. Rubin here: http://www.edwardlrubin.com/ 

Ruled By Venus is a musical collective with a brand of up tempo fiddle-based folk rock that combines the raw energy of traditional Celtic jigs and reels with the familiarity of more contemporary artists from the Fifties to the present day. 7pm - 8pm: Aging As Art Photography Contest award ceremony and Instagram photo contest award ceremony followed by a lecture presentation by award winning photographer Edward L. Rubin.
