COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY FACULTY AND LECTURERS
The Bowers Museum is filled with artifacts and paintings that connect closely to undergraduate and graduate courses and specific curriculum in Fine Arts, Art History, Archaeology, History, Cultural Anthropology, Humanities, Liberal Arts, Sciences and more. Visit the museum with your students or include a visit as part of regular coursework.
COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
The Bowers Museum welcomes students from colleges and universities throughout Southern California. Students can take advantage of walk-in tours and Docent led gallery talks. The Bowers Museum also offers internship opportunities and a Student Level Membership that provides a variety of benefits for students.
GROUP TOURS FOR COLLEGE CLASSES
The Bowers Museum provides one hour Docent-led group tours of an exhibition of your choice. Please reserve at least 4-6 weeks in advance. Contact the Tour Office at 714.567.3680 or e-mail grouptours@bowers.org. Tours are available Tuesday - Friday: 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm and Saturday - Sunday: 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
Tours can also be given in a language other than English. These tours must be arranged at least four weeks in advance through the Tour Office.
CUSTOMIZED EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND ART CLASSES
Bowers Museum Education staff can design a special museum experience that meets your specific educational needs. Please contact the Education Department at 714.567.3680 or e-mail schooltours@bowers.org.
WALK-IN TOURS AND GALLERY TALKS
Docents provide walk-in tours for individual visitors every afternoon (subject to availability of Docents). Docents also provide gallery talks, which are shorter, more concentrated tours of an exhibition.

SKETCHING IN THE GALLERIES
Sketching with pencil on hand-held pads is allowed without special permission during regular museum hours. Special permission must be obtained if wish to use easels or large pads. Permission to sketch can be granted only for objects belonging to the Bowers Museum. Call 714-567-3680 or e-mail grouptours@bowers.org.
