TANGATA AT THE BOWERS MUSEUM
Tangata (or "mankind" in the tribal Maori language of New
Zealand) features Southwestern decor enclosed by glass
walls and a ceiling framed with stuccoed beams and large
windows to allow ambient light to illuminate the main dining
area. Located in the Bowers museum's Mission-style
courtyard, the 160-seat restaurant dedicates half of its available
seating to alfresco dining on two large patio areas.
In addition to an array of appetizers and main course salads, Tangata offers a variety of main courses and a tantilizing selection of homemade desserts. And for children, Tangata offers an assortment of sandwiches and pasta dishes.
Bowers museum offers a beautiful and historic setting for your event. The courtyard can accomodate up to 400 seated and 600 for a buffet.
