SCOUT
GROUPS
ALL DAYS AND TIMES AVAILABLE
Troops fulfill cultural and arts badge requirements with special art projects and presentations. A specific list is available. Staff can also customize an art project to fit a troop's individual needs.
EDUCATOR
WORKSHOPS
Special in-training workshops, related to exhibits, are offered twice a year for teachers. These classes provide instructional information to apply directly to the classroom and assist in pointing the teachers to subjects that will stimulate student learning through direct computer research, hands-on projects and speculative subjects. Past workshops have explored The Day of the Dead and other fascinating holidays.
CULTURAL
TRUNKS
Kidseum Cultural Art Trunks, rented out for a small weekly fee, are designed to create a mini-gallery in the classroom. The trunks include materials related to their theme, such as hands-on art objects, lesson plans, videos, and books. Bring the pyramids from Egypt into your class with our Egyptian trunk, go "green" with your students as you explore toys made from recycled items from across the globe and many more.
