Our Environment

Bowers Kidseum is  fun-filled space where kids can explore the world around them - and beyond! With classes, birthday parties, summer camp, after school programs and more, Kidseum engages kids ages one to ten in an environment unlike any other.
Stop by Kidseum for:

International dress-up
Have you ever wanted to dress up like an Indian princess or a Mexican Caballero? Here you can do just that! We have a giant "multicultural closet" at your finger tips!

Tribal Instruments
Play instruments from across the globe which foster math and literacy skills!

Ethnic Masks
Every culture wears masks. Try one on! Can you guess where it's from or for what reason it's worn?

Language Exploration
Listen to languages from near and far! Where do they come from? Where are they spoken now? Make your own written samples to take home.

Our Mission

The Bowers Kidseum is dedicated to providing a fun, educational, and culturally rich environment where imagination and creativity are not only encouraged but nurtured.

Exhibits:

Monkey King: A Journey to China

Monkey King: A Journey to China is the first ever children’s exhibition presented at the Bowers Kidseum and focuses on the classic 16th century Chinese story about the Buddhist monk and scripture pilgrim, Xuan Zang, who takes a journey along China’s Silk Road. To engage children in the story and Chinese culture, Kidseum will dramatically transform into an environment filled with the sights and sounds of China.

Monkey King: A Journey to China tickets are $6 (Children under 3 are free). For tickets, click here.
