An Evening with Gloria Steinem: Conversation and Book Signing

In partnership with OC Public Libraries, we are proud to present an evening with Gloria Steinem, writer, lecturer, political activist, and feminist organizer. Her books include the bestsellers Outrageous Acts and Everyday RebellionsMy Life on the Road, Revolution from Within: A Book of Self-Esteem, and more! Gloria has been the subject of three television documentaries, including HBO’s Gloria: In Her Own Words. This presentation will feature Gloria Steinem in conversation with Ann Friedman, journalist and co-host of the podcast Call Your Girlfriend. Book signing to follow presentation.

8 PM | Book-signing and book sales. Please note that Gloria will only be signing Outrageous Acts and Everyday Rebellions: Third Edition. Other books or merchandise will not be signed and photos are not allowed

Tickets: Free event. Please note that museum galleries will be closed.
The Bowers’ waitlist is now closed. Due to the high volume of RSVPs, you will be contacted on January 22nd only if the Bowers Museum can provide you with a ticket(s). A limited number of complimentary tickets will be available in mid-late January 2019 at OC Public Libraries branches on a first come, first served basis. Please note that OC Public Libraries branches do not have waitlists. On the evening of event, seating is first come, first served for ticket-holders only. Some ticket-holders may be seated in overflow seating in John M. Lee Court after the auditorium is full. Parking is free but also limited; rideshare app or carpooling is recommended.
