Art in Context (6-Part Series): Artistic Dialogues, Part 4: Dialoguing Abstraction: Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc

We will explore the critical years around 1910 when Russian artist and leader, Wassily Kandinsky, met the German artist, Franz Marc, just as his radical shift towards abstraction, isolated him from his milieu. Together they will create Der Blaue Reiter Almanac and establish a new direction for art in the 20th century.
