Culture 360 gives school students a”360 degree” experience of lively topics created within the Bowers Museum's amazing collections. Let students open their senses (and their imaginations) through the making of music, hands-on activities, artist led workshops, dance and theater performances that hook up with gallery themes. TOUR- Ancient Arts of China: A 5000 Year Legacy

EXPERIENCE- Finding Cleveland is a documentary short film that follows Charles Chiu and his family on an emotinal journey as they take a trip to Cleveland, Mississippi to visit the gravesite of Charles' father, KC Lou. In less than 48 hours, Charles has many surprising encounters with the local townspeople who help him fill in some blanks about the father he never knew. He also learns of the Chinese Exclusion Act, a discriminatory law against Chinese immigrants and the struggles his father faced in a pre-civil rights era. Experience includes a film screening, performance, and Q&A with the filmmakers.

Culture 360 Pricing

Pricing for Culture 360 program is $13 per student.

1 chaperone for every 15 students is required, and is free, with additional chaperones at $10 each.

All teachers and special needs aides are free.

Pricing includes admission to Culture 360 performance, activities, and designated gallery only.
