Meet Director Pietra Brettkelly and enjoy a special evening screening of her award-winning documentary, Yellow is Forbidden. You’ll gain behind-the-scenes access to the preparations and drama of Guo Pei's make-or-break Paris runway show, all from the comfort of Bowers' state-of-the-art Norma Kershaw Auditorium.

About the Director
As a child, director and producer Pietra Brettkelly traveled from Papua New Guinea to Portugal with her parents, cultivating an appreciation for the diversity of people and their stories. Her 2015 documentary, A Flickering Truth, appeared at the Venice and Toronto film festivals and was subsequently selected as New Zealand’s bid for the Academy Award® for Best Foreign Language Film.
