A child survivor of the Stalinist purges and the Nazi Holocaust, Trudie Strobel uses her once silenced voice to speak about art, the power of expression, and the strength of a benevolent community. Finding solace in her art, Trudie has incorporated beads into her embroidery work in incredibly dynamic ways.
