Directions & Parking

The Bowers Museum

is located at the corner of 20th & Main Streets in Santa Ana - one minute from the 5 freeway, (Main St. South exit) and just minutes from the 57, 55 and 22 freeways.


is located on the corner of 18th and Main Streets - south of the main Bowers Museum. Parking is available in a well-lighted conveniently located area, adjacent to the Museum. Wheelchair accessible.


Parking Lots are available directly north and south of the museum for a $6 fee. Nearby metered and timed street parking is also available. Bowers Museum Members have the exclusive opportunity to purchase an Annual Parking Pass for $20.

Public Transportation

The bus line servicing the Bowers Museum and Kidseum is the OCTA bus number 53. Metrolink and Amtrak trains stop at the Anaheim Station (3.5 miles from the museum), and the Santa Ana Station (1.7 miles from the museum).

Become an archaeologist in the enhanced Archaeology Room located in an Egyptian Tomb. The Bowers Museum, in partnership with RGS London, is pleased to offer limited edition platinum prints, the highest quality of image achievable, of Frank Hurley's original negatives which document one of the greatest stories of human survival ever told. Handmade on the finest cotton paper, the prints will be available in three sizes with full supporting provenance documentation. Photography: Vision Quest with Martha Fuller (3-Part Series)

Drawing inspiration from the current exhibition Adams, Curtis and Weston: Photographers of the American West, discover your unique vision and learn techniques to develop your photographic quest. This course will integrate visual and verbal lectures, hands on assignments, critiques and discussion. Using your smartphone or camera of your choice, you will acquire skills to sharpen your eye, deepen your understanding of self and surroundings, identify and focus your vision. In this self–expressive course you will create a cohesive portfolio of images as evidence of your personal vision quest.
