Find out how art and technology can combine forces to create animation and video games through the magic of coding! Workshop attendees will learn about “coding blocks” and logic by using the MIT-based Scratch (an educational, visual coding program). You will learn how to make a video game character move, talk, and even dance! Recommended for beginning coders, or children with little coding experience. This workshop is led by UC Irvine undergraduate students that specialize in STEAM youth programs developed by the Beall Center for Art + Technology.
