Bead Society of Orange County presents Darryl Dean Begay

Bead Society Orange County presents Darryl Dean Begay

Darryl has created his own niche in the Native American Art world. His unique style of jewelry is rich in Navajo culture and hand-made with skills that are his own. Combining the tufa casting technique, which dates back to the 1850s and requires carving a double-sided design into the tufa before pouring in molten gold or silver, with lapidary inlay and fabrication, his jewelry has become sought after worldwide.
Presented by the Bead Society of Orange County, an affiliate council of the Bowers Museum.

Tickets: Free event (does not include access to museum galleries).
