The Ann Cullen Collection with Mr. Jean Stern

PURCHASE TICKETS

Ann Cullen (1928-2018) was married to Bill Cullen (1920-1990), a popular and successful television game show personality who was the original host of “The Price Is Right” and “The $25,000 Pyramid.” In addition to being a prominent runway fashion model, Ann was an excellent watercolor artist who befriended and often painted with many prominent artists.
Ann’s love of art led her to form a first-rate collection of fine art. Her home was filled with important paintings in the California Watercolor Style, including works by Millard Sheets, Rex Brandt, Phil Dike and others. After her death, the collection was donated to the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana.
Mr. Stern will review the collection and discuss the importance of the artists who created them.Sponsored by the Bowers California Arts Council, an affiliate council of the Bowers Museum.
