Docent Ambassador Program

In collaboration with Bowers Museum, the Docent Guild offers free presentations to civic and community groups as well as service organizations and clubs. Docents serve as Museum Ambassadors to inform groups about current and upcoming special exhibitions, permanent gallery collections, and public programming opportunities. Family Festivals

Thank you to the Nicholas Endowment for sponsoring our Family Festivals on the first Sunday of each month. Admission to the Family Festivals in the Key Courtyard is free. General admission on Festival Sundays to Bowers Museum is free to Santa Ana residents and Bowers Museum members only.


Santa Ana Sundays

Bowers offers free general admission to all Santa Ana residents on Sundays through a generous donation in memory of Dorothy Goerl and courtesy of the Lockhart Family. Santa Ana residents will need to provide proof of residency through an ID, driver's license or utility bill.


Military Discounts

Bowers Museum is pleased to offer free General Admission to all active duty mility year round with proof of ID.

In celebration of Veterans Day, Bowers Museum will extend free General Admission to all active military AND Veterans on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

The Blue Star Museums program is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America to offer free general admission to all active duty military personnel and their families. Bowers Museum will participate this summer August 1 - September 1, 2019. The free admission program is available to any bearer of a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card, or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, which includes active duty U.S. military - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps - and up to five family members.
